Brooklyn Public Library is seeking an Environmental Community Organizer to engage Greenpoint residents in environmental and health issues. This new, one-year grant funded part-time position is supervised by BPL’s Environmental Justice Coordinator and based at Greenpoint Library and Environmental Education Center.

The Organizer will work closely with the Library’s existing coalition of neighborhood environmental advocacy groups and City, State and Federal agency partners, as well as build new relationships, to ensure Greenpoint residents are fully aware of all the information and resources available to them.
