Brooklyn Public Library seeks an individual to run a Teen Tech Center at selected locations. The Tech Center will offer young people (ages 13 to 18) the opportunity to work on projects they find meaningful to their lives, using computers and technology. The program provides support and resources for young people to pursue their interests and build upon their talents. In the Teen Tech Center, youth can design their own music, art, newsletters, robots, science simulations, computer games, and animation. The Teen Tech Center Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Technology Resources Specialists, Young Adult Librarians, the Technology Training Supervisors and the Young Adult Internship Coordinator to host creative activities and deliver meaningful technology programs. This position reports the Technology Training Coordinator.
This is a full time, non-union position with a salary range of 52,000 - 56,000.
