The PT Data Manager will provide quality professional support for the Brooklyn Public Library’s Adult Learning Program High School Equivalency program. Responsibilities will include assisting the HSE Literacy Office through planning, organizing, and assisting in coordinating daily functions of GED computer-based and paper-based exams. One would be the point person for coordinating GED exams, administering exams, prepare test materials and schedules for approximately 250 non-high school graduates per year for BPL’s GED testing sites. Duties also include processing examinee information, advising and referring applicants as needed, and liaising with testing examiners. Assist HSE participants with how to schedule themselves for an exam, etc. One will serve as a resource for all HSE students and potential test takers and track examinees' achievement by collecting data utilizing the appropriate management systems (GED manager and Google Drive). Assist with administering NYSED (TABE and/or BEST Plus) required standardized assessments.
This is a part-time grant funded position funded through June 30, 2025. Hours for this position are up to 19 hours per week at $25 per hour.
