The Brooklyn Public Library is a dynamic and vital institution serving the diverse communities of Brooklyn, New York.  With a rich history and a commitment to fostering knowledge and learning, the library system comprises 60 buildings spread across the borough, totaling over one million square feet of property.  We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Building Operations Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our extensive property portfolio. This position reports directly to the Director of Buidling Operations and Sustainability, and works closely with managers and directors in the fields of Energy Management, Capital projects, Environmental Heath and Safety and Fire/Life Safety. Duties will include frequent communication with other staff through Brooklyn Public Library, including public service, governmentand community relations, library leadership and other support services.
